Morning Star offers an array of small groups designed to foster learning, while at the same time establish effective relationships with other members of the Church. Groups have been established based upon shared goals and life cycles. Most often, these groups meet during the week, providing interactive opportunities for both the new and seasoned Church member. While meeting days and time vary, the collective goal of these ministries is to provide spiritual teaching and evangelistic outreach. The groups welcome your participation:
Men – Our Men’s Ministry is committed to helping men understand they were created in God’s image for a purpose: to embrace and walk in God’s will for their lives; and to strive for Godly holiness. The Ministry is focused on helping brothers learn what it means to love as Christ loved, to grow in Christ, and to serve as Christ served. Weekly, the Ministry hosts a Men’s Locker Room – Game Time session focused on fellowship, spiritual growth and relationship building. Throughout the month, a variety of practical and relationship building sessions and activities focused on empowering brothers as they follow Christ are hosted as well.

Women – Our Women’s Ministry promotes a healthy emotional, spiritual and physical lifestyle for the Christian Woman. Women are confronted with multiple responsibilities, some of which can hinder emotional, physical and spiritual growth. The ministry seeks to address these challenges, providing progressive steps that allow women to evaluate their position with regard to reflecting God's glory. View the B.O.L.D. Couples – Morning Star’s Couples Ministry, also known as the Jewels of Christ, ministers to dating, engaged and married couples. The Ministry encourages growing and healthy relationships that are Christ-centered. With a vision that encompasses all couples – the Ministry offers ongoing fellowships and special sessions for specific couple groups (engaged and married). The Ministry believes God ordained marriage and seeks to encourage couples to make this their goal as they seek God’s will for their relationship. View the Couples brochure.

Seniors - The Pearls of Wisdom Ministry is designed to meet the needs of our seniors – offering fellowship, communication, empowerment and spiritual growth. The Ministry seeks to reduce isolation for our seniors and serve as an extended family. The Ministry believes it is important to maintain Christian fellowship and spiritual growth as we grow older. Seniors are encouraged to keep their minds active and alert by participating in study, work and play

Families – Our Family Life Ministry believes parents should be the primary faith influence for their children. The Ministry seeks to strengthen all families including, but not limited to single parents, traditional, blended, and others. The Ministry encourages family devotions and offers an array of community resources designed to support the family.
